Combined Aortic Valve Regurgitation, Aneurysm Of The Sinus Of Valsalva And Vsd Patient, Patch For Vsd Was Leaved Above The Prosthetic Aortic Valve: Surgical Technique

aKalp ve Damar Cerrahisi Kliniği, Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi, BURSA Patient with aortic regurgitation, sinus of valsalva aneurysm and VSD were offered operation. Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) was established after high aortic and biatrial cannulation. At moderate hypothermia, the aorta was cross-clamped and the aorta opened via a oblique incision. The right coronary cusp was elevated and the VSD visualized. A pledget-supported fine monofilament suture was placed along the border of the VSD. An appropriate size of semicircular patch which was made from PTFE was used to close VSD.
